Ryan has liked puzzles since childhood but fell in love with puzzle hunts through UMD Puzzle Club in 2017. He wrote for UMD Puzzlehunt 2018-2021, including a small video game puzzle Mortal Snake.
Puzzle games like Portal, The Witness, and Patrick’s Parabox are his favorite, but he also enjoys the stories in horror games. Unfortunately, he’s too jumpy to play most horror games himself, so he watches videos of other people playing them online.
