Location - Discerner of Directions

  1. Search the King’s letter for directions containing a number and cardinal direction like FOUR EAST.
  2. Starting in Expectations, take the seven directions in order.
  3. The directions should guide Milo to the town of Thought.
  4. Write out the letters on the map that Milo traverses.

  1. Connect each fishing pole to a fish by connecting dots.
  2. The numbers by the fishing poles represent the length of the fishing line connected to that pole.
  3. Spell out the fish connected to the poles in order, from top to bottom, alternating from left to right.
  4. “Read out right facing fish” from top to bottom.

Detainer of Divergents

  1. Start by placing the six oxymorons into the first and last spots of each roster based on the clues given.
  2. For all other roster entries, use the clues to think of two words or a hyphenated word that matches the clue.
  3. List the directional words from the rosters in order from the first to last roster.
  4. Find a way through the maze that uses exactly these directions in order then read every fourth letter.

  1. Start by placing words which can't fit anywhere else due to the lengths of their parts.
  2. Form words from the remaining pieces.
  3. Each equation represents a combination of two words which together can form a portmanteau.
  4. The letters in the darker gray spots form the answer to the puzzle.

  1. Pair up each word with another word containing an opposite “heart.”
  2. Take the remaining letters in each word (outside of the “heart”) to form a word that is represented by an image in the circle.
  3. Draw lines connecting the images representing the parts of words which you previously paired up.
  4. Find the words inside the circle which sit at the intersection of 3 lines.

  1. The gray lines indicate the possible arrangements (forward or backward) of the four original puzzle answers.
  2. The first column (which contains the first four or last four letters of a seven letter puzzle solution) must contain 3 consonants.
  3. The first column contains the letters “LIMB.” Then “ON A” is placed in the adjacent spaces in the same gray line.
  4. Once all puzzle answers are placed, spell out the letters in the numbered spaces in order.

  1. Each word in series one has a silent letter (seen but not heard).
  2. Each word in series two has an absent letter (heard but not seen, or seen as something different).
  3. Each word with a silent letter in series one has a match to a word with the same absent letter in series two..
  4. Place the pairs of words into the grid with the silent letters in the indicated column and extract the letters from the gray boxes to reveal the solution.
