  1. The figures in the middle correspond to our heroes.
  2. Put together the words on the left using the images around our heroes.
  3. For example, #1: Green PowerPuff girl = Buttercup, which is butter (top left) + cup (top middle).
  4. Once you’ve pieced the words together, the directions will correspond to semaphore.
  5. THE TWO CREW

Hardwon's Heartache

  1. Notice that there are words hidden within each of the words on the left.
  2. Once decoded, each word on the right can be linked to one of the words on the left.
  3. For example, Unearthly (NEAR) corresponds to Fanfare (FAR).
  4. The words on the right are as follows:
    GODDESS
    FANFARE
    THIGHS
    SCOLD
    SURPRISE
    SLAUGHTER
    BEASTLY
    COFFEE
    WINGS
    AUDIENCE
  5. Once connected, the lines will cross of the letters in the middle.
  6. LOVESICK

Beverly's Big Test

  1. After figuring out the "incorrect" answers to each question, index the first letter.
  2. All the wrong answers spell out "DASH", which suggests a certain code.
  3. Treating the wrong answers as dashes and the right answers as dots, use Morse code to decode the puzzle.
  4. IDEALIST

Moonshine's Mushrooms

  1. A good starting point would be the row with 2/7/7/1 or the row with 2/6/7/2.
  2. For rows/columns with numbers >10, there are certain spaces that must be filled regardless of where the Toadstool chain begins.
  3. Try using dots to denote spaces that must be empty.
  4. After figuring out the puzzle, use Braille to decrypt the final answer.
  5. LANGUISH

Balnor's Bag'

  1. Some of the objects in the middle six squares can be incorporated into the “empty bag” word to make a “full bag” word.
  2. For example, for #3:
On the left side, the empty bag is "BED". The filled bag words are "BEGGED", "BOWLED", and "BRIBED".
  3. To get from BED -> BEGGED, we have to add an "EGG" in, so the egg in the picture would be "in the bag".
  4. Empty bag:
    ACE
    SING
    BED
    HOLY
    STY
    DEED
    PIES
    WED
  5. There are two categories: in the bag and out of the bag. What code could be applied here?
  6. Using binary, decode the 8 letters, using the “in the bag” words as ones.
  7. DAYDREAM

Meta

  1. Looking at only Balnor’s statements, one can deduce which one of Balnor’s statements is a lie.
  2. All the lies are in different positions.
  3. Balnor’s 3rd statement is a lie.
  4. Each person’s “lie” position corresponds to where they slept.
  5. (left side of the bed) Hardwon - Moonshine - Balnor - Beverly (right side of the bed)
  6. Notice that all the previous answers are 8 letters long.
  7. A quarter of each word (2 letters) is used for the final answer.
  8. The position where each person slept points to which two letters to take.
  9. (LO)VESICK + LA(NG)UISH + DAYD(RE)AM + IDEALI(ST) = LONG REST

Bonus: Paw Paw's Court Settlements

  1. Notice how some of the opposition and the clients have overlapping words.
  2. For example, the client VOICE overlaps with the opposition ICEBERG
  3. When the client and the opposition overlaps, there is always an odd number of letters in the overlap.
  4. Take the middle letter of the overlap: for VO[ICE]BERG, it would be a C.
  5. List of clients:
    VOICE
    RAVIOLI
    SHRIMP
    ADOPT
    HEART
    APPROVE
    LLAMA
    CABIN

  6. List of oppositions:
