  1. Which cipher does the flavor text refer to?

Interlocking Rings

  1. This is like a crossword but each answer winds around in a circle around its clue number.
  2. Start by writing down the answers that you’re sure of. Then, use the two overlapping letters of adjacent words to narrow down where each word starts.
  3. It helps to keep track of which of the six starting positions have already been used.

Mysterious Runes

  1. The team has been reflecting on these runes for a while… what reflections do you see?
  2. Try rotating the paper 90 degrees.
  3. Each rune is made of a shape reflected both vertically and horizontally, so the basic shapes are ¼ of each rune.

  1. There are 25 tasks and five days, so how many tasks per day?
  2. Start by finding the two big dots that only have one option for where to go next so as not to prematurely end a path.
  3. Those two dots are by the N in the lower left corner and the A in the right column.

  1. Start with rules 1 & 5, keeping in mind that Frans is the 1st alphabetically out of all 9 applicants.
  2. Return to rule 5 after applying the other rules.
  3. Once you have the five crew members figured out, eliminate their five letters from the pigpen on the ship.

  1. Start with the 1st and 3rd quartets and try to figure out which of the main set answers are the categories for them.
  2. The categories, in order of top to bottom of the page, are: squirrels, ten, dogs, and made of metal.
  3. To get the final answer, focus on the letters that Loki changed.
